Study Break.

This week is finals week & we couldn't be more excited to be finished with the semester!
We needed a little break from all of the studying today so we got lunch
& these sweet little treats below. Now just one more test & an essay for us and we are
headed home to spend time with family in Lindon and in California.
We cannot wait to start the holiday break.

A weekend home.

Last Saturday we took a trip home to spend some time with my brother & his wife. They taught us how to make our very own sushi rolls. They were so simple to make and taste just as good. We ended the night at 2 a.m. with 12 rounds of Scattergories (we really liked this game) and a movie. It's almost guaranteed a good night when we come home to spend it with family.
Maybe that's why we always seem to end up in Utah County..
Hope you learned something new this weekend :)

A week full of birthdays.

Chad & I celebrated my 21st birthday this past Tuesday. Yep, 21! Feels amazing. He surprised me with nutella crepes in the morning (which are my absolute favorite) and dinner with my closest friends that night. Little did I know, he had been planning this dinner since the week before working out everyone's schedule so they could celebrate my day of birth! I felt pretty special and so lucky to have a husband to take the time to plan something for me. But this was not the end of celebrating. It was my older and little brothers birthday this week as well. Our family had two birthday dinners and ate way too much cake the entire week. With Thanksgiving thrown in the middle I think our family had a pretty great couple of days. Hope your Thanksgiving week was just as sweet!

Missing sunshine

I found a few pictures and videos from our snorkeling adventure on our honeymoon today.
Makes me appreciate the blizzard yesterday that much more.
Hope you had a great snowy weekend!

Halloween Night in Daybreak.

Chad & I spent Halloween night at my brothers house in Daybreak this year with my family. It was the perfect place to be on Halloween night. Each street had the cutest halloween decorations and everyone was dressed up. My sister-in-law Jen made an amazing dinner with lots of fun Halloween desserts. We then had the privilege of taking this little vampire below trick-or-treating. Chad & I dressed up as cholos along with a few other creative costumes in the family which included a ghost, witches, a robot, and the creep in the movie The Strangers. Hope your Halloween was just as fun!

A not so lucky ride in Park City.

This picture pretty much sums up how we felt after the alpine coaster in Park City last weekend. For those of you who have never done the ride before you may not want an opinion from us. It was Chads first time in Park City so I thought it would be fun to go on the alpine coaster... wrong. We got slammed from behind by two 200 pounders going 30 miles per hour at the bottom of the hill. I got a major concussion and Chad thought he broke his collar bone. We still walked down main street and had pizza at the Red Banjo, which was amazing. Besides our little accident, it was a great night.
