Over the holidays,

For the holidays this year we were able to spend Christmas in Sacramento with Chads family. Can I just say that I seriously could not have scored better in-laws. They made the week so much fun. Our week consisted of a trip to San Francisco, bowling with the family, shopping at vintage YSJ, watching lots of movies, & eating great food. It was exactly what Chad & I needed before we head back to school & back to the bitter cold of Utah (single digit weather is not okay). I hope you had a great holiday just like we did. Happy 2013!

^ New Years Eve at the parents. Chad almost fell asleep before midnight. party animals is all i can say.

Turkeyday + Birthday

This year my 22nd birthday landed right on thanksgiving. At first I was a little disappointed having to eat the traditional turkey meal on my birthday but sharing my day with thanksgiving could not have been better. I was able to spend part of the day with my family and the other half with the husbands family celebrating the entire day. I had not one but two birthday cakes (i'm spoiled, i know) all while being surrounded by the people who are most important in my life. I have so much to be thankful for, especially for my sweet husband of mine who makes me feel like the luckiest human in the world. It truly was the best way to start off my 22nd year. Hope your day of thanks was just as wonderful!

A late Halloween update,

Okay, I know I know Halloween was what... 2 weeks ago? But I do have an excuse. School has taken over my life! So here's the update now on one of my favorite holidays. We spent the day in Daybreak again this year and I've decided it is the best place to spend Halloween. Kids were literally riding ponies while trick-or-treating. A little over the top? Maybe but who cares! We loved it. Here are a few pictures from our night.

our weekend consisted of lots of bike riding, laying poolside, volleyball in the sand, spending much needed time with my newest niece and nephew taylor & will, a drive through Zions National Park, and a house all to ourselves. It was the perfect way to officially say goodbye to summer. Until next year sunny weather, we will miss you dearly!

Fathers Day Weekend,

Last week the family took a little trip to the Heber cabin to celebrate fathers day/my dads birthday.
My husband was in heaven the entire time. Who knew golfing and hot tubbing could make
one guy so happy. It was such a beautiful weekend and lucky for us we get to head back
in two weeks. What a perfect place to celebrate fathers day.
Love you dad, you're the man.

Memorial Day Brunch,

Isn't he the cutest? Alex & I invited Jen and a little visitor over for breakfast on Monday
who insisted on only eating the whipped cream on top of his waffles. He is starting to
say the funniest little things and is full of energy all of the time. Our family will be adding
two more little babes to the picture in just two short months and we cannot wait! The
husband & I also got to spend some much needed time with Marlee and Tyler this past
week who came to visit from Santa Clara! They brought their cute little pup, Shuggie who
made us want a dog of our own that much more. Our week couldn't have been better
seeing so many of our friends and families faces this weekend.
Hope yours was full of sunshine!
