A week of laziness,

This week I have been a little under the weather. I know I know.. who gets a cold in the middle of july? Welp, I guess this girl does. Anyways it has actually been pretty nice lounging around with the husband in our apartment all week. We've actually been able to relax in our new place for the first time, make breakfast together, & lay in bed all day talking about the little things that have made us happy this past year. I still feel like the luckiest girl to be married to my dearest. Thanks for taking care of me all week!

The Fourth of July,

The fourth of july has always been one of my favorite holidays. We celebrated this year 

with the parade in provo, a bbq with both of our families (my cute in-laws are in town!), 

and the stadium of fire that night. I have been going to the stadium of fire ever since I 

can remember & I don't think that it will ever get old, especially if the beach boys are playing. 

I hope your 4th was just as wonderful!

Fathers Day Weekend,

Last week the family took a little trip to the Heber cabin to celebrate fathers day/my dads birthday. 

My husband was in heaven the entire time. Who knew golfing and hot tubbing could make

 one guy so happy. It was such a beautiful weekend and lucky for us we get to head back

 in two weeks. What a perfect place to celebrate fathers day.

Memorial Day Brunch,

Isn't he the cutest? Alex & I invited Jen and a little visitor over for breakfast on Monday 

who insisted on only eating the whipped cream on top of his waffles. He is starting to

 say the funniest little things and is full of energy all of the time. Our family will be adding 

two more little babes to the picture in just two short months and we cannot wait! The 

husband & I also got to spend some much needed time with Marlee and Tyler this past 

week who came to visit from Santa Clara! They brought their cute little pup, Shuggie who

 made us want a dog of our own that much more. Our week couldn't have been better 

seeing so many of our friends and families faces this weekend.

Lately,

 

Now that life has slowed down a bit I can finally catch you up on what we
have been doing lately. We finished finals last week, found a new condo in
sugarhouse (we move in next month and can't wait!), got new jobs, and have
 started to enjoy the warm weather outside. Summer seems to be off to a great start for
us and we couldn't feel more blessed. Hope you have a wonderful weekend friends!

summer is just around the corner,

for some reason i seem to be focusing on school less & less and thinking about all
 of the things i want to do during the summer break more & more. our semester
will be ending in just two weeks and i couldn't be more relieved. even though
 i have taken some amazing classes this spring i am so glad they will be over! this little
summer tune will have to keep me company while i hit the books hard for the next
 little bit. wish me luck!

Easter Sunday,

Hope your Easter Sunday was wonderful! Today we ate lots of sweets, celebrated 

my brother Ian's birthday, taught our cute primary class about the resurrection of Christ, 

helped little Oliver find his Easter basket, & got excited about the new niece and 

nephew to be born this summer by both sister in-laws (and just a few days apart!) 

Today couldn't have been better.
